TENDER NOTICE

FOR APPOINTMENT OF MANDI LABOUR/MANDI TRANSPORT CONTRACTORS

Sealed tenders under “ Two Bid System” are invited from financially sound parties having business competency for appointment of Mandi Labour/Mandi Transport Contractor in the mandis to be operated by FCI in three FCI Districts  Faridabad/Hisar & Rohtak in Haryana state during Rabi season 2010-11.  Contracts will be finalized by Area Manager concerned for a period of one year extendable for further three months at the option of the Corporation.

Tender form embodying the terms and conditions can be obtained from the concerned District Office of FCI Haryana on payment of Rs. 500/- + Rs.63/- VAT (non-refundable) in cash.  The sale of tender form will start ten days before the date fixed for opening of tenders and will be closed one day before the date of opening of the tenders.

Tenderers shall give their offers duly complete in all respects in two separate sealed envelopes clearly subscribed as “Technical Bid” and “Price Bid”.    The “Technical Bid” will accompany the documents of eligibility i.e. all documents in support of financial soundness, work experience etc. & the demand draft of earnest money. Price Bid will contain the rate to be quoted.  Both these envelopes containing the “Technical Bid” and “Price Bid” will finally be put in double sealed envelope, the inner envelope be subscribed tender no. __________________________ for _________________centre.

The earnest money as fixed by the Area Manager @ 2% of contract value subject to minimum Rs.10000/- shall be furnished in the form of Demand Draft(MICR) or Pay Order drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of concerned Area Manager, of FCI  payable at __________ and will be put in the envelope containing the “Technical Bid”.  The last date for submission of the offers, both “Technical Bid and “Price Bid” at the concerned Distt. Office of FCI is as per details given below:-

The technical bids shall be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representative who wish to be present.  The price bid of only those tenderers shall be opened whose technical bid is found to be acceptable for which date will be notified separately.    Offers received after due date and time will not be entertained.

Concerned Area Manager reserves the rights to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons and decision shall be final and binding on all concerned.

Successful tenderer will have to execute a formal agreement on the stamp paper of required value before taking up the work.  Tenderer should quote competitive rates to avoid negotiation.
